Coyotes’ refusal to die has made coyotes one of the most prevalent and hated neighborhood pests in North America. This piece is an exploration of how the animals and people we see as pests are the ones that dare to survive. By tying myself to the coyote, I explore my own experiences of fragility, resilience, and survival. More specifically, the destruction that comes with survival in an unjust world.
